This part of the assessment will take the form of a 3,000 word written Product Management Document which should provide a comprehensive and detailed account of the marketing and promotion of a Music Production product (i.e. recording or remix) in a defined commercial area. Your Product Management Document should provide details of how your specific track has been targeted at a defined market sector or audience, including a viable marketing strategy. You will also be required to utilise carefully considered research in order to target your track at a realistic market pertinent to your ‘niche’ and circumstances. You must also include your audio product (recording or remix) with your Product Management Document submission. Your work should include reference to external knowledge and include a full bibliography using the Harvard Referencing System.
