Part B: Begin this section by explaining what you mean by research evidence and conveying an understanding of different types and levels of evidence. ? Following this – Whilst focusing at all times on your specific research question; conduct a literature review to find the best research evidence. In the process of looking at research evidence critically appraise at least one Journal Article you have identified, from your database searches. ? Continue to draw on literature to find and present the other main types of evidence that a social worker should ideally draw on including theory, law, policy and serious case reviews, service user and carer perspectives, values, own practice experience, and other professional perspectives. In doing so you should continue to critically appraise the quality of all evidence you have chosen throughout. ? Part C: Based on your critical appraisal in Part B; summarise what have you identified as the best evidence to inform practice in the specific practice area chosen?
