Formatting: All Reflection Papers must be single-spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font, 1-inch margins, using APA or MLA citations unless otherwise noted. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in either docked points or a zero. Incomplete work will be given a zero (not meeting the full-page requirement). Only Word documents will be accepted. Papers will be a minimum of 1 FULL page in length, properly formatted and focus on reflecting, analyzing, and applying the ideas of the readings. These are NOT summaries of the readings, but I expect you to weave the readings and class discussions throughout the paper. Please address the following (DO NOT INCLUDE THESE QUESTIONS AS HEADERS IN YOUR PAPER): 1) Briefly describe the issue raised by the author(s) and why it is important? 2) How does or might this issue affect you? 3) What are some examples demonstrating one or more of the main ideas? 4) Use film, literature, current events, television, memes, etc. to critically react to the ideas and take a stand. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY OF THE FILMS OR DOCUMENTARIES HERE, AS THESE ARE BASED ON THE COURSE READINGS.
Include at least 5 concepts or terms from the text and be sure to bold them. If you are including the images of memes, add this on a second page, as it will not count towards the text minimum. Do not use examples that were given in class or from the text. Be creative and thoughtful.
